what is Gravitation.

 Newton's law of gravitation

Force of gravitation between two bodies is directly proportional to the product of their masses and invesely proportional to squre of the distance between them. The expression for gravitation force is

F=GM1M2÷r×r

M1,M2 are masses of the object
r is the distance between them

G is the universal constant
G=6.67×10'°-8

Gravity

Force of gravity on any body on the surface of earth is,

F=GMm÷R×R
Where M=mass of earth

m=mass of the body
R=radieas of earth 🌎

Acceleration due to gravity is g=GM÷R×R
Weight of the body=mg

Acceleration due to gravity of a body doesn't depend upon its mass.

Value of g on moon 🌒 is about 1/6th of that on earth and value of g on Sun 🌞 is about 27 times that on earth 🌎.

g is maximum on Jupiter and minimum of Mercury.
